ICHINOSE Hybrid Printing System, called “iUGO”, is a combination between the conventional Flat Screen-Printing System with the most advanced Digital Printing System.
The main purpose of this combination is that designs with large number of colors can be printed using the Digital Printing Unit (as it is impossible using Flat Screen-Printing) whereas the ground part of the design will be printed using the Flat Screen-Printing Units (as Digital Printing System has a lot of problems with uniformity).
Besides of the above purpose, "iUGO Hybrid Printing System" has additional benefits, such as:
- The consumption of expensive ink for inkjet printer can be reduced to about one third as the ground design part will be printed using color paste from Flat Screen-Printing Units.
- It is not necessary to make many Printing Screen Frames as only ground part of the design will be printed using Flat Screen-Printing Units. The time and cost for making Printing Screen Frames are reduced.
- The remaining color paste which usually resulted from conventional Flat Screen-Printing Machines will be reduced and, therefore, the cost for processing wastewater disposal also will be reduced.
- The efficiency of the machine will be increased as the time for changing colorways and designs will be greatly shortened.
- It is possible to combine Digital Printing designs with Gold powder, Silver Powder, or Glitter, as these will be printed using the Flat Screen-Printing units.
- It is not necessary to prepare pretreated fabric beforehand as the pretreatment process is by in-line on Flat Printing System.
