Hisaka Flash Type Evaporator (REV Series) is a high-performance concentration system utilizing a plate type forced circulation type design. By combining forced circulation with flash evaporation, the REV series handles high-viscosity products and difficult-to-evaporate liquids that would clog or foul conventional evaporators. The forced circulation ensures high flow velocity across the heating surface, preventing scale formation and enabling stable concentration even for challenging products.
High-capacity circulation pump maintains rapid flow velocity across the heating plates. This prevents stagnation, minimizes scale adhesion, and ensures consistent heat transfer even for viscous or fouling liquids.
Instant vaporization occurs when pre-heated liquid enters the vacuum separator. The sudden pressure drop causes rapid evaporation, achieving high concentration ratios with minimal thermal exposure.
Capable of concentrating liquids to high Brix levels. The forced circulation system handles viscous products smoothly, reaching final concentrations that other evaporators cannot achieve.
High flow velocity and forced circulation keep the heating surface clean. Scale formation is greatly reduced, extending run times and minimizing cleaning downtime.
Compatible with multiple-effect configurations and vapor recompression. Reusing vapor heat significantly reduces steam consumption and operating costs.
Adjustable circulation ratio allows optimization for different products and concentration levels. Easy to switch between products with minimal changeover time.
The REV operates through a continuous forced circulation and flash evaporation process:
Product is pumped through the heating plates at high velocity using a circulation pump. This ensures rapid heat transfer and prevents scale buildup.
Liquid is heated to near boiling temperature using steam or recovered vapor while circulating through the plate heat exchanger.
Hot liquid enters the vacuum separator. The sudden pressure drop causes instant (flash) evaporation, rapidly removing water.
Vapor is separated from the concentrated liquid. Vapor is recovered for energy reuse; concentrate returns to circulation or is collected.
Continuous circulation and flash evaporation gradually increase concentration to the target Brix level.
Concentrated product is collected. Automated CIP cleaning ensures sanitary conditions for the next batch.
Hisaka REV Series is ideal for products that are difficult to concentrate with other evaporators:
Honey, glucose syrup, starch syrup, and high-Brix sugar solutions that require forced circulation to flow smoothly.
Salt solutions, citric acid, and products that tend to crystallize or form scale during concentration.
Meat extract, bone broth, yeast extract, and fish sauce that require gentle but efficient concentration.
Antibiotic solutions, amino acid concentrates, and enzyme preparations requiring careful thermal processing.
Caustic soda, organic acids, and industrial chemicals requiring corrosion-resistant materials and stable concentration.
High-concentration food wastewater, plating wastewater, and industrial effluent requiring volume reduction.
Forced circulation handles high viscosity, fouling, and crystallizing products that would clog other evaporators.
High flow velocity prevents scale adhesion, ensuring stable long-term operation with minimal cleaning downtime.
Reaches high Brix levels that other evaporators cannot achieve, making it ideal for premium concentrates.
Compatible with multiple-effect and vapor recompression systems, significantly reducing steam consumption.
